Always be authentic and genuine to yourself. Be interesting. Your friends are your friends for a reason so remember that when you’re planning content. What did you like to read on Facebook before you were building a business? That’s what they want to see now.
Consistency is key. Map out your 10 X 4 X 1 System
Facebook is a TOOL that we, as associates, use to help brand ourselves and allow our friends, family, acquaintances KNOW about the gift we have to offer. 80% of YOUR BUSINESS will come through leads created by Facebook. Facebook is a LEAD GENERATION tool.
There are a few simple steps in the Facebook System.
Step 1: Listen to all 3 audios listed under the QuickStart Tab in 6 Simple Systems (on www.hbteam.co)
Step 2: Download the app Buffer or Post Planner on your smart phone and link it up to your Facebook via both your smart phone and your laptop. This will come in handy later.
Step 3: Begin to visualize YOUR team. What qualities are you looking to attract? Who would be your ideal cleanser and/or business partner? Take time to either list or describe the characteristics of this person.
Why is this exercise important? This exercise will allow you to discover what your BRAND may be. Your goal with your Facebook post is to attract the characteristics you listed above, and to be authentic in what you are posting. Ask yourself, what attracted you to this opportunity? Or what kinds of posts will attract your next big producer?
The goal is to post upwards of 15 times a week. This may feel awkward for you at first, but as you start seeing the leads pour in, you will begin to LOVE posting! It’s all about staying consistent and FOLLOWING the program!
- 10 of your posts should be about topics that interest YOU and would interest YOUR business partners and cleansers. They should not be about Isagenix.
- 4 of your posts are directly about Isagenix. But in order to effectively work the system, and to stay compliant, we do NOT mention the name Isagenix, instead we use the term “Nutritional Cleansing”.
- Example: 2 posts could be Product Transformation photos/stories, and 2 posts could be Business Testimonials. All of these can and SHOULD be found on HBTeam or one of the other Isagenix sponsored Facebook Groups.
- DO NOT POST ANY TRANSFORMATION PHOTO THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE IS FROM ISAGENIX.
- 1 of your posts is your POWER POST.
- This is typically done (and recommended) to be posted at 8 PM on Sunday nights. This post is designed to draw the most attention to what you are building. Look at it as a billboard, if you only get 3 seconds of people’s attention as they’re scrolling through their newsfeeds, what would you say to catch their eye? Do not hesitate to work with your coach on developing your first few.
A good way to keep up with the NUMBER of posts, develop themes for each day. Your themes can be YOUR choice, and remember, they should be targeted towards your IDEAL prospect.
Those examples are not strict guidelines, but more so an idea of what many people do. Not every post has to be aligned with what you choose the theme to be. We find that we really only make my AM and PM post themed, the rest we just let come to me throughout the day.
Get really clear on the PEAK posting times. These are:
- 7-9 AM,
- 12-1 PM,
- 4 PM,
- and 8-10 PM.
Here are a few notes on peak posting hours:
- 7-9 AM and 8-10 PM are by far the MOST seen, so save your interesting content for these times!
- Morning posts are most liked/commented on when they involve some type of motivational/funny/inspiring/interesting content, NOT transformation photos!
- Nightly posts are the most seen, so save your team shout outs, transformation photos, and any powerful messages for 8-10 PM
To increase intial and long term engagement on your facebook, friend/follow 5 people from the Healthy Body Business Team Facebook Page. This will allow you to see what they do, which may help and inspire your posts. This is also important because when we make important posts, we do some “behind the scenes” work.
After you make a powerful post (not to be confused with your power post), one that deserves attention and will intrigue your followers, send a group facebook message to 6-8 members of the HBTeam FB page and ask for them to like and comment on your photo. This is only appropriate during PEAK times and for posts that are powerful.
If you are a very busy person, and the idea of constantly having to remember to post on Facebook overwhelms you, HAVE NO FEAR!! Buffer or Post Planner will allow you to input your posts ahead of time, set a “buffer time” and the app will post to your Facebook for you!
Go ahead, right now….use your brainstormed list from above and just have fun with it! It may feel a little uncomfortable at first, but doing this will propel your business to success!
Create curiosity so people are inclined to come to you. Utilize terminology like “nutritional cleansing” or “nutritional program” instead of using the word Isagenix so people come to you for information.
- Don’t verbally vomit or shamelessly promote yourself/business. Never be negative, political, derogatory, and condescending with the opportunity or lifestyle.
- Show the lifestyle through pictures, words, excitement, passion. Provide value and entertainment so people are inclined to follow you.
- Brand yourself as the go to person for all the solutions that Isagenix represents.
- Utilize the inbox system. Private message 5-7 people to draw traffic to a primetime post. Connect your new people to others on the team and assist them with this process until they are comfortable doing it on their own.
- When potential prospects comment on a post or inbox you, always send a private message to set up the appointment. Don’t verbally vomit, send links, or explain through an inbox. Just set the appointment online so you can then take it offline.
- Join groups to build relationships. Don’t spam them with your products/services but use them to connect, ask questions, and create new leads that you can add as friends.
- Know the purpose of the groups we utilize as a team. Healthy Body Business Group is to celebrate, update, and educate on the business only. No product questions, no complaining, and no negativity. Only add people who are QUALIFIED AND SERIOUS. If you’re new, have your coach assist you.
- We Got This Cleanse Group is for celebrating, updating, and educating about the products. It’s only for cleansers enrolled on our team. Any negativity or profanity will be deleted and banned.
- Your profile picture should be a clean, clear picture of only you. No children, pets, spouses, etc. Your timeline photo is the first picture people see. It should be a powerful quote or something representative of who you are.
- Make sure your posts are set to PUBLIC (this can be done in “settings”> “followers”>”everyone”
- Create a file on your desktop called “Isagenix Posts” and look up photos from the HBTeam or Isa Testimonials FB page. Find motivational pictures and quotes on google and put them in the file as well!
- If you are grabbing a testimonial off of Isa Testimonials, make sure that the person posting is OKAY with other people using the photo
- Attaching a picture to everything you post, grabs people’s’ attention a lot more.
- HAVE FUN! FIND YOUR VOICE! RUN WITH IT, BABY!
